Inspired by water
Our first project. The title came up after a walk in the astonishing nature nearby our studio in France when we started the demo sessions for the album some years ago. These surroundings and in particular a beautiful waterfall excited us so much that we couldn’t wait to translate our feelings of that day into music.

Birth of Inspired
Early springtime in the mountains of the Ardeche, France. In an old farmhouse on top of a mountain near the small village Le Pral, BEARproject worked on demos for the album ‘Inspired by water’. Music and sound design by BEARproject.

LePral 2003 The birth of BEARproject
Here you can listen to some of our demos which were made in our studio in LePral. Some demos were recorded under the influence of the so called ‘nekslag’, a special brew made from rum, fruits and plants by Nico, the owner of the farmhouse where we built our part time studio.

Friendship
BEARproject is currently working on the second album/project, working title “Friendship”. Most of the demos are finished. We now are inviting poets, writers, musicians, designers and film makers to collaborate on this project. Here you can listen to some bits, enjoy!

Vriend, metgezel, die meer en minder is
dan vader, moeder, minnaar, kind
hetzelfde als ik, maar anders
onafhankelijk en toegewijd
ouder, jonger, van dezelfde tijd.
Trooster die getroost kan worden
baken en verhanger van de borden
broeder, maar van andere moeder, zonder rivaliteit
met wie ik samenloop en die mij begeleidt.
Hij gunt mij om te leven en als ik dood
zou willen, geeft hij mij gelijk.
Soms is het dat ik om hem alleen
verdragen blijf, wat zonder hem ondraaglijk scheen.
Zonder een enkele verplichting
loop ik en loop altijd in zijn richting.
